DETAIL
The Dead Blow Hammer combines the proven dead-blow hammer principle with our innovative Schonhammer interchangeable-head design, delivering power, control, and versatility in one tool. Featuring two replaceable plastic heads made from durable POM and silicon, users can easily swap heads to suit different materials and tasks, just like our standard Schonhammer system. The hammer body is filled with half steel shot and half sand, creating a true dead-blow action that absorbs shock, minimizes rebound, and delivers a strong, controlled strike while reducing damage to the workpiece and user fatigue. Built for heavy-duty applications such as automotive repair, machining and metalworking. It is simple to replace the soft faces: use the allen key to loose the screw, remove the screw, and take out the hammer head. For added flexibility, the Dead Blow hammer is also available as a set with a smaller Schonhammer, covering a wider range of ligher applications and tough tasks with one interchangeable system.

Deadblow Action
The Dead Blow Hammer utilizes the core principle of a traditional dead blow hammer, with the hammer head filled with steel shot and sand that shifts forward at the moment of impact. This internal movement absorbs shock and dissipates rebound energy, allowing the force to stay focused on the target rather than bouncing back. As a result, each strike is strong, controlled, and precise, reducing surface damage, improving accuracy, and minimizing user fatigue.
Heavy-Duty Applications
Designed for demanding work environments, the Dead Blow hammer is ideal for automotive repair, machining and metalworking, woodworking, construction, and maintenance tasks. Its combination of deadblow force and interchangeable POM and silicon heads allows it to handle both rugged and delicate applications like seating bearings, adjusting metal parts, and loosening stuck components.
